Our Community Transport Service offers a dependable, door-to-door option for people who are not able to drive themselves, catch public transport, or simply need help getting to and from appointments and community outings.

Where can we take you?

We don’t just go between home and the hospital. Our community transport team can take you door-to-door, even if one of those doors is your community club, because social outings are essential for health. We cover Mandurah to Yanchep, out to Carmel and Gidgegannup. For trips farther afield, consider our regional services.

Who is this suitable for?

Our service is for ambulant passengers who are able to get in and out of a sedan vehicle and who don't need medical assistance during their trip.

Passenger requirements:

  • Able to enter and exit a sedan vehicle
  • No medical assistance required during the trip
  • Accompanied by a guardian if under 18 years of age
  • Accompanied by a carer if they have dementia or are of unsound mind
  • Able to manage themselves at the appointment

Our standard fare for metro area travel starts at $22 each way

Make a booking

Community Transport must be booked in advance — we recommend booking at least three business days ahead. Our transport service is available Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm, with last pickup at 4pm.Our booking team is available 7.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Am I eligible for this service?

Passengers must:

  • Be able to get in and out of a sedan vehicle
  • Not require assistance or en route medical assistance
  • Be medically stable
  • Have a carer with them if they have dementia or are unstable
  • Have a guardian with them if under 18 years of age
  • Be able to manage themselves at the scheduled appointment

Can I use my Home Care Package?

A Home Care Package is a program that provides eligible older Australians with access to a range of affordable care services.

Our Community Transport Service can be included in your HCP or CHSP, depending on your package level and requirements.
