What is a Clinical Readiness Assessment

What's involved in a Clinical Risk Assessment
Using a three-phase approach, we comprehensively review all policies and emergency plans, clinical personnel requirements, poison management, clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), and equipment. We use the Swiss Cheese Model by James Reason to guide this process. This model shows how accidents often happen when small problems in different areas line up. Each part of your system is like a slice of Swiss cheese, and the holes are potential weak spots. If those holes line up, things can go wrong.
