Policies and Standards for RTOs Banner

St John WA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), via the College of Pre-Hospital Care under RTO ID number 0392.

The Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 are in place to ensure nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services for the clients of Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) system.

The purpose of these Standards is to:

  • Set out the requirements that an organisation must meet in order to be a registered training organisation (RTO).
  • Ensure that training products delivered by RTOs meet the requirements of training packages or VET accredited courses, and have integrity for employment and further study.
  • Ensure RTOs operate ethically with due consideration of participants’ and enterprises’ needs.

All registered training organisations (RTOs) in Australia are responsible for ensuring they fully comply with the Standards at all times as a condition of their registration.

The standards came into effect in April 2015.

St John WA – RTO ID number 0392 – RTO Policies and Procedures to support the Standards for RTOs 2015 are currently under review.
