Terms and Conditions
PRIZE
1. There are three (3) individual prizes to be won (Prize) as part of the “First Responder app” Questionnaire Competition (Competition): Three (3) VISA Gift cards valued at $500.00 each.
ENTERING THE “First Responder” APP QUESTIONNAIRE COMPETITION
2. To enter the Competition, you must complete, including provide your contact details, and submit the questionnaire that was sent to you via email.
3. Only submissions made between 10/09/2021 at 12.01am (AWST) until 24/09/2021 at 5.00pm (AWST) will be accepted as entries into the Competition. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted or considered.
4. If you are under the age of 17 years (inclusive), you must obtain parental or guardian consent to enter the Competition. Parents or guardians may be required to enter into a further agreement with St John WA if you win a Prize.
5. The competition is open on to:
a. residents of Western Australia only;
b. those who have previously downloaded the St John WA ‘First Responder’ app .
6. The competition is not open to:
a. employees or volunteer of St John WA or its related entities or their immediate families; or
b. any person who is discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to enter the competition; as only one entry per person is allowed.
PRIZE COMPETITION
7. The Prize winners will be selected at 209 Great Eastern Highway, Belmont, Western Australia 6104 on Monday, 27 September 2021.
8. A St John WA working group will select three (3) winners of the Competition to receive an individual Prize based upon the most useful feedback as judged at the sole discretion of the working group.
9. St John WA’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition is final and cannot be contested.
10. The winners (3) will be notified by email within 48 hours of being selected for a Prize.
11. The winners will need to collect their Prize from the St John WA Belmont office, 209 Great Eastern Highway, Belmont, Western Australia 6104, no later than 4pm AWST, 15 October 2021. St John WA may require a winner to provide identification documents to verify their identity.
12. If a winner:
a. cannot be notified that they have won a Prize by 4pm AWST, 8 October 2021; or
b. does not collect their Prize by 4pm AWST, 15 October 2021. An unclaimed Prize will remain the property of St John WA.
13. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
14. St John WA accepts no responsibility for a lost, misplaced, or misdirected Prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
15. Entry and other instructions contained within promotional material form part of these terms and conditions.
16. By participating in the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
17. St John WA is entitled at its sole discretion to reject or disqualify any entry which it determines to be incomplete or ineligible or which in the sole opinion of St John WA contains unlawful, defamatory, offensive or other material which if published or broadcast would place the business interests of St John WA at risk or adversely affect the goodwill, name or reputation of St John WA.
18. St John WA reserves the right to refuse Prize redemption to any participant that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
19. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, third party promoters. You are providing your information to St John WA and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
20. To the fullest extent permitted by law, St John WA takes no responsibility for any liability, financial or otherwise, arising out of, or in connection with the Competition.
21. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release St John WA from any and all liability, damage, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any Prize or participation in the Competition.
22. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Western Australia and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
23. St John Giving has the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions; such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
