This course is delivered as assessment only with no demonstrations or time allocated for practice of the skills prior to assessment. This course is only designed for those with advanced CPR skills and knowledge, who have completed a HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation course within the last 12 months.

The Provide CPR - Assessment Only course is designed to refresh students Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency situation in the community or workplace until relieved by medical personnel.

This course is delivered as 2.5 hours in class and online learning to cover all knowledge and skills assessments.

The Provide CPR course would benefit anyone wanting to learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency situation. The course provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely perform CPR and manage an emergency situation in the community or workplace until relived by medical personnel. This course satisfies training requirements across a range of community and workplace settings.

This course is delivered as 3.5 hours in class and online learning to cover all knowledge and skills assessments.

The Provide First Aid in an education and care setting course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. This course satisfies the training requirement for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

This course is delivered as 1 day in class and online learning to cover all knowledge and skills assessments.

Build the confidence and capability to respond effectively in an electrical emergency.
This course equips those who work in the electrical industry with the practical skills and knowledge required to safely perform a rescue from a live low voltage (LV) panel and provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with WHS/OHS requirements.

Learn how to identify and manage electrical hazards, use low voltage rescue equipment correctly, and follow workplace procedures to ensure a safe and compliant response.

The course is delivered through 4.5 hours of in-class training, supported by online learning.

The Critical Response Training – First Aid Skills course equips participants with advanced skills to manage major trauma and medical emergencies in high-risk environments. The training covers tourniquet application, wound packing, trauma bandaging, and airway management.

This course is delivered in person as a 4 hour practical learning session.

The training covers tourniquet application, wound packing, trauma bandaging, airway management, and advanced resuscitation techniques. This course is recommended for workers with access to oxygen equipment in the workplace.

This course is delivered in person as a 1 day practical learning session.

First Aid for Mental Health is an introductory course designed to build awareness, confidence and practical skills for recognising and responding to common mental health concerns. It focuses on stress, anxiety, depression and suicidal behaviour, and teaches you how to start supportive conversations, offer assistance, and look after your own wellbeing.

This one-day St John WA course is for people looking for a practical introduction to mental health first aid. It does not explore more complex or persistent mental health conditions.

Licenced by Mental Health First Aid Australia, this course provides comprehensive and in-depth training for participants who want to further develop their mental health first aid skills. The two-day course covers an extensive range of mental health concerns and crisis situations. Participants learn how to use an evidence-based action plan to recognise concerns, start conversations, give initial support and encourage appropriate professional help.

You can also choose to complete the post-course requirements to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider) through Mental Health First Aid Australia.
