This course is designed for people travelling or working in remote areas. It covers the basics of first aid management, along with scenarios and information contextualised to a remote setting.

This course includes online learning and 2 days of practical training and assessment. Completion of online learning is required prior to arrival at the class.

The Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy course would benefit all those who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation or oxygen therapy in a range of complex situations, including workplace and community settings. The course covers the skills and knowledge required to use specialised oxygen equipment such as an Oxy-Viva 3 Resuscitator or similar.

The course is delivered through 1 day of in-class training, supported by online learning.

IMPORTANT: Prior to your attendance in class, it is a national requirement that you have completed and been issued with a Statement of Attainment for the pre-requisite unit of competency HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.

This course is an extension of the skills learned in the HLTAID011 Provide first aid course and provides participants with the skills to be able to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of first aid in the workplace.

The course includes online learning and 3 days of practical training and assessment. Completion of online learning is required prior to arrival at the class.

This defibrillator demonstration only course will provide participants with the basic knowledge and understanding of how to use a defibrillator in an emergency situation.

The demonstration covers common injuries and illnesses that can occur in everyday life. The course combines both theory and practical demonstrations, including the recovery position, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and fracture management. It provides a good foundation for a large group of people on which to build further skills and knowledge.

HLTWHS002 Follow safe work practices for direct client care

This accredited course provide the skills and knowledge required for a healthcare worker to participate in safe work practices when involved in caring directly for clients within nursing, aged care and home care environments.

This course includes online learning and 4.5 hours of practical training and assessment. Completion of online learning is required prior to arrival at the class.

The course is delivered through 7 hours of in-class training, supported by 5 hours of online learning.

This Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) accredited course builds on Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge to develop advanced resuscitation skills for managing patient deterioration and cardiac arrest in the early stages of a medical emergency. Through realistic simulations and hands-on instruction, participants gain the confidence to assess, stabilise, and communicate effectively as part of a resuscitation team.

The course is delivered through 8 hours of in-class training completed in 1 day.
