How we’re supporting our local communities through COVID-19
Western Australians are adapting to living with COVID-19 and rapidly responding to different requirements to keep ourselves safe.
Whether it’s signing in through Service WA, showing proof of vaccination or abiding by mask-wearing requirements, we are becoming accustomed to living alongside the virus.

Save Triple Zero (000) for emergencies
Western Australians are generally pretty good at knowing when they are facing a life-threatening emergency, but we have been receiving some calls to Triple Zero (000) which are not emergencies that relate to questions and concerns about COVID-19.
We want to arm people with a better understanding about the right time to call an ambulance, and when it’s more appropriate to contact another health service for assistance or advice.

St John Urgent Care continues to operate 7 days a week.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms, you MUST call your local St John Medical centre to be assessed before booking or attending an appointment.
St John Medical centres provide Telehealth appointments which are GP consultations by phone or video.

The system, developed by WA Health is a secure and convenient way for venue operators and patrons to easily register their attendance at relevant venues. Through a unique venue QR code, SafeWA supports efficient COVID-19 contact tracing, should it be necessary, by providing a digital register of contact details for patrons attending venues.
